About Blasts from the Past
This is a web site designed to offer a selection of vintage toys, retro games consoles and Star Wars memorabilia to children of all ages. Like the ever–popular Star Wars figures and vehicles from the original film, the Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi.

We also have a selection of vintage Magic Roundabout memorabilia – including musical carousels and playgrounds – all very collectible items since the new Magic Roundabout film was released earlier this year. And take a look at our other product galleries featuring Atari consoles and retro games, Hasbro Transformers, A–Team figures, and Super Heroes.

History
Mark, the site originator, has worked in his family's Video Promotion company since leaving school. He has been a keen collector of Star Wars memorabilia since childhood and when his own daughter was born, in 2003, he started a collection of vintage Magic Roundabout figures and Bendy toys, especially for her.

His collecting quickly took over and earlier this year, with the help of other family members, he decided to take the plunge and turn his hobby into a business – previous experience in the video promotion field and web site design has been invaluable .

Future Goals
We are striving to build a reputable and comprehensive on-line collection, featuring the fondest memories of the past and vintage toys from an era when childhood was a time of magic and wonder. At present we are in the process of opening small retail units in antiques centres and retail outlets in Lincolnshire and the North of England.
